Common Dove in open forest, taken in May, 2011.I like the pose, so thought to share it.
Two branches, one near the wing and other above the head are cloned. Darker areas on right side are toned down. Cropped, sharpened and NR applied to BG.

ISO: 400, 1/800 @ F: 9.0.Evaluating metering. Exposure bias: +0.3.
White balance: Auto. HH. Canon: 550D, 100-400.

Thanks for viewing and appreciation. C & C are much appreciated.
Kind Regards.

Satish:

It is an interesting pose, with the neck extended, good eye contact. I like the texture, definition showing in wing.

I like the sweeping perch and its scale. MIght burn the larger branch in RUC so it is less prominent.

Perhaps a bit of low opacity clone stamp work to smooth out the cloned areas extending from bill down towards the perch.

Good job on the exposure with the bright sky background.

Cheers

Good advice by Randy. I will add that with the bird looking to our right it would have been better to have more room that way (subject a bit more to the left). Head looks a bit soft, perhaps a bit more sharpening there for web presentation. Love the scaling feathers, and you got some nice colours.
