This was taken today at a local Nature Center. I set up this branch near a feeder. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

Jim:
I like this one a lot. Bird is sharp, well exposed, nice pose, good display of feet. The BG is good. A very interesting perch, with lots of texture and detail, but not overpowering. Good choice. In a perfect world, a sliver more DOF for perch and tail, but works very well as is.

Making the ordinary look extraordinary! At 1/80" I bet the IS came in handy! Great composition and nice pose from the bird.

Nice perch. Nice BKGR. Sharp. I love how the tones of the perch are a perfect match for the tones of the bird. Love all the texture on the perch as well. All in all, exceptional.

Excellent image. Love the perch quality/character. The catchlight is the bomb on this one.

Hi Jim, I really like how the Finch pops from my screen, good angled pose and sharp. Lots of character on the perch, and the BG works well.
