I like what you were going for here, but the spider is just a little too small and the background takes your eye away. Could you have gone in much closer, just on the flower and the spider silhouette. That might have helped, as the light looks kind of harsh.

Thanks Patrick. It was the back lit flowers that had caught my attention and then the spider of course added to it. The streaky/blotchy bg is not ideal, but it was hard to not lose the dangling leg. Perhaps a vertical and tighter crop would have been better. Good to know what others are thinking.

Dave, I like your Thinking.. Spider Reflection add Creation in this Image.. but Reflection Is not looking Proper To me.. due to texture Petals, so for this Situation I agree With Patrick suggestion. you can try Different Angle for Back lit Shot :S3:

dave....I personally would have gone much closer with this lossing most of the bg.

I agree with the tighter frame, this would also provide the benefit of making the background much more diffuse.
