Wow John I like this image a lot, how cool. Its refreshing to see a wider view sometimes, I really like WA closeups. they give you a great sense of being there. They are really popular with the UW (underwater) photogs, and some macro specialists.

That specimen in the FG looks fantastic!

You should try this image in PS lens correction to pull out some of the distortion, I like the image as is but corrected might be a good alternative.
Is that a big snail on the MR in the upper left?

What a great image! I love that your focal point is right up front but then you have the forest behind it to draw your eye through the entire photograph. Between the colors and the textures, this one really works for me!

Hi John,
Overall.........love it........nice to see a WA view.........but still concentrate on the subject (although in this case, the environment puts it over the top)...........my only suggestion that no one mentioned..........the skinny little tree above the right mushroom is distracting to me as it doesn't fit the scale/mood of the other trees. If you are comfortable with such a thing.......get rid of it.
