Canon Speedlite Query

I have a Canon 7D, Canon Speedlite 580EX2 and Speedlite 430 EX. I have the 580 set up as the master unit and the 430 EX as the slave unit using the wireless flash function. On the camera menu the 2nd Curtain Sync is greyed out. My options are high speed and 1st Curtain Sync. Can I not set 2nd Curtain Sync when using the two units as master and slave?

May, on page 26 of the 580EXII manual you will find the following notes regarding second-curtain sync:

• Stroboscopic flash cannot be set.
• Wireless flash cannot be set.
