Well not really a baby but still quite young, a "small" Bontebok (once Africa's rarest antelope but now going relatively strong) chasing along in De Hoop Nature Reserve, Western Cape, South Africa, 4th September 2012

Hi Ken,
love this and I am more than jealous of your 1Dx. Bugger :bg3: Want one too :eek3:
Had a closer look. I would make the upper background a bit softer, but that is just me, as this is a little chap. Little animals or humans mean soft for me, vulnerable, which could be underlined with a bit softer background. But again, that is how I feel or think with little chaps :bg3:
The little chap is adorable, love the bouncing :bg3:
Ciao

Anette,
Thanks very much, I have softened the BG somewhat it seems that in testing the 500mm MkII I should have dropped the F stop to get a more OOF background, next time?

Ken - cute little one and IQ looks good. Once again I might tone down the whites on the legs a little.

Cute. Always fun to watch the young deer/antelope testing out those new, long legs of theirs. Look like this one is copying the one from your previous post.

Thanks everybody for tour kind comments which are much appreciated.
The whites are always a problem with this Antelope, especially when for a change we have actually has some sun!
