I wasn't ready when this bird flew in and landed not too far from us (my wife and I) making the BCNH count four.
Otherwise the Tv AV values and even ISO would have been different.
Thanks for looking.

Considering what youve said result is super. What a fantastic wing spread. Tempted to add alittle contrast on bird.<input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input jscode="leoInternalChangeDone()" onclick="if(typeof(jsCall)=='function'){jsCall();}else{setT imeout('jsCall()',500);}" id="jsProxy" type="hidden">

Thanks Richard.
I'll wait for more critique and will try to correct them all at once.

I think that's a pretty spectacular incoming pose, Karl. Rare to see this with a BCNH, don't recall seeing an image like this before. Very nice.

Looking at the thumbnail I though it was a big raptor. I have never ever seen a photo of this bird in this incoming landing pose. Big congrats for this rare capture.

Stunning shot. Just love the spread out wings, excellent detail, and I like being able to see the perch it's going to land on.
Well done.

Very cool Karl! When I first saw the thumbnail I thought it was an Osprey. Love the wing flare and reached out legs. Never seen a BCNH flight shot before.

Karl,

I'm not sure what settings you should have changed to make this better. It's a very unique shot and the quality looks good to me, very nice background and wings. I'm not sure if more contrast would improve the bird.

This is excellent Karl.
It is so hard to get a sharp image of an incoming bird and you nailed this one.
Love the pose and the fanned tail. Excellent IQ.
I might go a touch brighter but otherwisw no nits,
Gail

Very impressive considering the incoming angle. This is pretty dang sweet Karl!
The background has some great definition that speaks to habitat.

Hi Karl, you couldnt have captured a better incoming pose with that wingspread - well timed. Lots of feather detail to look at, and maybe adding a touch of contrast wont harm the BCNH.

Thank you all. I did some modification. I sharpened the bird a little more, darkened the perch to be and applied noise reduction only to the background.

Maybe the best photo you have posted and that says a lot.
Killer landing and close up detail.
Great work!
