I see you are out playing with your new toy, lucky thing. I'll have to wait for next year.
Looks good here, lovely antelope that I've not seen and I like the position in the frame. One comment, I think the white legs look a bit bright and I wonder if you could extract more detail from them. Nice detail in the eye.

Hilary,

Thanks very much, I have been having all sorts of problems setting up my new toy, and it is still being a bit of a nuisance. I hope to speak to a Canon engineer soon!

Bonteboks are always a nuisance in particular the sharp contrast. This happened so quickly, I was taking images of Eland, that I had no time to dial in negative EV which is virtually always necessary.:2eyes2:

Congrates on new toys Ken. I hope you get your camera settings sorted out. Great sharp shot, I like the contrast, image pops nicely.

Ken - congrats on the new toy. Agree about the whites of the legs but good IQ overall.

Nice capture, Ken, with nice details and colors. I like the fact that the subject is moving and at a nice angle. Congrats on your new toy.

Another beautiful antelope Ken. Nice detail and good timing on the pose. Looks to be enjoying the coming of Spring.

Looks fine to me. Will have to go back to Africa as this is another critter I have not seen:t3
