Sanjeev, wonderful bird with a nice composition and pose. However, the image is a bit soft overall. The background and perch don't add much to the image. If possible I would consider making the bg a bit more uniform. Also, the top portion of the 'perch' is very bright and a bit distracting.

Bee Eaters are always a treat to view!! Beautiful subject and BG (although I'd tame the brighter white area). Bird could use a bit more sharpening for web, but the perch is really what is weakening the image. Is it part of a monument?

Hi Daniel, the perch is basically a stone pillar commonly used for fencing of open lands. Usually a barbed wire is used to cordon off areas and the stone pillars act as scaffolding. If you check the image on flickr it is sharp, but when I transfer it to BPN it gets soft. Hence I plan to become a member so I can upload directly. And thanks Miguel for your comments and suggestions. Indeed it is a beautiful bird.

Hi Sanjeev,

Just watched the image on flickr, i do not see any better sharpness, sorry.
I would also go for more usm on the subject.
