Here's another Sanderling photo from my recent trip. I've cropped it this way to keep the reflections in the water. Unfortunately I can't give anymore space to the left, but I don't think the crop is to bad. Comments more than welcomed
7D, 100-400mm, F8, 1/640, ISO320, AWB. Processed in DPP and PSE 10.

This is nice Simon. Nice work getting both birds sharp. I like the almost b&w feel with thwe splash of browns in the birds

Excellent job getting two nice poses with nicely spaced subjects on the same focal plane.
I enjoy the study in plumages that the image provides with the adult on the left and the juvie
on the right.

very nice Simon,nice how you have got both birds sharp,looking at the BG and FG,I think you could clone some more room on the left.thanks.

I like the composition as is. I also like to see some colours on the feathers as you see them almost black and white around here this time of the year.

Thanks very much for all the feedback. It's one of my personal favourites. I didn't realise that the one feeding was a juvenile.

Super shot Simon just love the colours, my only suggestion would be to crop a little from the bottom, for me there is a lot of empty space.
