Seagull Morning

I was looking for a good backdrop for this gull. Not sure the scale of this one works, but I kinda liked the drama...

Hi Mitch....I like the drama but i do think the gull(?) needs to be just a bit smaller

Mitch, I might evict the shadows of the palms in the water as they imply the light is coming from a different direction than the shadow on the bird. I agree maybe a little smaller for the gull. Love the scene and the drama and the flip!

This is certainly dramatic. Beautiful light in the sky and on the bird. I've never seen a Gull fluffed up like that--a different look.

I love it Mitch! The sky is gorgeous and I've never seen a gull that looked like that either. Maybe make the gull a tad smaller to give the upper wing a little more space between the edge but I don't think it looks out of proportion.

Mitch...to me the light on the gull looks too contrasty and does not match the overall light in the scene. I like them both but i think i prefer the first post for the drama and the way the clouds mimick the wings
