Took this shot 2 weeks back at JBWR east Pond.
D300S,Nikon 300mm f 2.8 AFS-I + TC 14eII , 1/2500s , f/4,ISO-200 , Manual Exp on Tripod with Gimbal Head.This is a 50% Crop of the original.
I know that the image is soft but am glad that I got this guy in flight.
Thanks for Viewing and Appreciate your comments.

I like the background and composition, but like you mentioned - the out of focus (softness) of the image detracts quite a bit. Did you get any more in a sequence?

You did a good job with your composition, BG, exposure and angle but the bird is soft.

Agree with Marina about softness of image, though I like composition and flight pose.

Thank you All.
Miguel Thx.I did take a few more shots that are in Sequence with varying wing spans. Will post a different one later. I think the Bird is not OOF.Its soft in part due to being a big crop and would have helped if I had a faster SS and the apperture stopped down a little.
