I believe this is a very young bird. Maestro Morris was in the area for the week-end, and he was a few yards ahead, with Alfred and Harold Davis, playing with some turtles trying to come up a log, when thie bird jumped to the railing, giving me the opportunity to get full frame heads.

Wonderful EXP control, image optimization, and COMP. Wonderful seeing you and so many BPN folks.

After I shot those turtles I brought them home and made some great soup.

It must be the evening of the wood storks, Fabs. Wonderful portrait of this young one. As stated above, everything works here. I'd take it over turtle soup any day.

Incredible detail. The bill has such clear and definitive shades and reflections and the lower half of it almost looks like wet paint or as if it was dipped in bronze. Superb job.

Really nice, Fabs...I would bet this bird was born last season...beautifully done. I love these birds-feel bad for them because they really are quite homely.

Mmm, can't really decide between the LTR or RTL image. Still, very nice. I like the BG, comp and good light here. Nicely done Fabs!
