I added the second coneflower in Photoshop, I used Fractalius and revealed some of the color for the tops. I'm not sure that this has as much of an Asian feel to it as I had originally hoped but I did like the final look. The chop looks like it may be too small and too light but I will wait to hear from Dan before making any changes-just in case. I didn't include a thin black border, I didn't like the confined look that it gave to the image.

Very nice work, Denise! I really like the comp and balance with the chop placement! I like the chop size but I would like to see it a deeper red. I agree that a black border would be confining, Maybe a light gray border would work but this is fine as posted in that regard.

Denise, this is so beautiful and has an Asian feel to me. I like it without the frame as well.:S3:

Denise, I like both this version as well as the version on your blog with the purple tones of the cone flower left intact....this one fits the theme better IMHO....well done!

Graceful & delicate. Maybe a less solid color on the stems to complement more the sketchy lines of the flowers.

Beautiful composition, Denise. Like everything about it... just wish it to be bigger.

Hi Denise.......little late but I do like this image alot. The frac work is perfect and the composition is Goldilocks ( just right !) I will look at coneflowers with fractilius in mind in the future.!
