Hello,

I read a lot and wanted to ask what your favorite nature photgraphy books are:

Here is my list:

- Artie's "The art of bird photography II"

- "Captured: Lessons from Behind the Lens of a Legendary Wildlife Photographer" by Moose Peterson

- "Wildlife Photographer: A Course in Creative Photography" by Chris Gomersall

- "Digital Landscape Photography" by John and Barbara Gerlach

- "Creative Nature & Outdoor Photography, Revised Edition" by Brenda Tharp

- And all the German books by Markus Botzek

Hi Markus,

Mine are: all books by John Shaw and Ansel Adams. The Shaw books are out of print, but readily available, even new in paperback. They are film era, but very relevant today (perhaps more so as many fundamentals seem missing from digital photography books these days).

Books by John Shaw and the older ones by Jim Zuckerman. They are usually readily available used for under $2-3 on Amazon.
I have a signed copy of Tom Vezo's 'Birds of Prey' that is a favorite.

Really enjoyed reading Captured and am looking forward to investing in Artie's book soon - real soon!
