I shot it yesterday after 6 PM.
There were three juveniles in the nest along the road on a utility post.
Parents have already left.
I cloned out the nest from the bottom left. Added canvas to the top and front.
Almost full frame, about 70%.
Cloned out the bends on the legs.
Selective linear burn and dodge.
Thanks for looking.

Nice light on the bird, Karl, and great wing position. I also like the buffy juvenile plumage and eye color. Good PP work.

great to see the juvi. I see something like a clone mark in the clouds to the left of the far wing?

nice exposure and details

Thanks, Arash. I added canvas to the left and top as I indicated. It might be it. I'll look into it.

Hi Karl, good wing position, and you have captured good underwing detail. I like the eye, and we have a great show of the talons.

Nice pose, light, cloud/sky BG. I was going to mention the smudge in front of the wing but Arash has done so already.

Thanks Daniel.
I finally looked at the original and discovered that there was a utility wire running accross in front of the bird, that I cloned out as well, hence the smudge.
It had nothing to do with adding canvas to the front and top. Somehow I was checking the top at the close wing.

awesome pose, and the cloud in the background totally makes the shot and keeps the background from getting too flat. very very well done.
