I really like the pose, composition, and sharpness, John. The harsh light didn't do you any favors here. The first thing that strikes me is the very odd looking eye - likely caused by the way the light is hitting it. You might try selecting the eye in PS and darkening it to see if that helps. I would also suggest toning down the bright areas in the lower half of the frame. A classic red squirrel pose.

Thanks Steve. The eye in the image is what caught my attention, hence the image title! In this case eye detail is brought out by side lighting from the sun and I purposely left it as is. The eye look is completely natural in this case, but usually hidden because of exposure and normal lighting conditions.

Hi John I see what you were trying to do I like going after different The only thing against you was the harsh light Not much you can do for taming it and having the little guy in mixed light makes it even worse !!!
