This is great and I wish I could photograph a butterfly in flight that turned out as well. The butterfly is isolated well from the background. I wonder if additonal cropping (left and top) would allow the subject to stand out more? I haven't seen a red admiral yet this year but I aslo think this view with the wings up shows a nice pattern with the blue color.

He's even poking his tongue out Danny !. The light on the butterfly is well controlled, pops off the screen. Lovely comp with the vibrant flowers and obviously the target of the butterfly, not sure what I'd change if anything, enviable.

Hi Danny. Congrats on capturing this flight image - definitely not an easy task! Sharp were it needs to be and nice ROT comp. Well done!
