From a couple weeks ago. 5DIII, 100mm f/2.8 macro, ISO400, 1/100, f/4, tripod, manual focus.

Hi Dave. This is a nice change of pace from the frame filling subjects we usually see - I like it a lot! The spider and prey are sharp, but are nicely separated from the background by the narrow DOF. The comp works well with the subjects in the ROT position. I also like the even light and the water drops. Very well done!

I do have some a bit closer, but I did like this "moist jungly" look. I will be away for a few days so will try to post some later.

Hi dave....i appreciate your jungly look in this image. You might consider cropping just a bit from top and/or bottom. You could also consider blending/ toning down the bright spot in the LLC near your name. Nice work!
