I really enjoyed your article, Morkel. My favorite part was be there and enjoy it. Many people lose sight of that which, to me, is the most important aspect of nature photography. Not only enjoy it, but learn from the experience...soak it all in.

Thanks for sharing this! Very well written with excellent visuals. I read it yesterday morning, took note of a few of the points (especially the patience part :) and was rewarded with some shots I wouldn't normally have gotten unless by pure luck. :)

I agree - great article with fabulous imagery to help make the points. The section about painting with light went a long way to answer the question I posed recently in th Eager to Learn section of this forum, regarding frustration with iq.

Morkel, enjoyed the read very much and of course the images were top shelf! Recently I've suffered from a case of "lens envy" (200 mm my longest) you have helped me see the "big picture" a little better! Thanks for the link!
