Given the fact that Kidepo was on the border of Sudan, and that country was one of the main sources if poachers, it is perhaps somewhat surprising to find such a healthy population there.
Not that they are all that happy with human presence.

Nice angle you were able to get. I am glad to hear the elephants are thriving in that area.
I like the scenery with the mountains behind. Looks like it was quite hazy? Fires?
I would sharpen the ellie just a tad more :w3

It may look hazy, but it was actually very dull because of the very late wet season. No fires up there, mostly cattle farming, veggies are grown further south and the choice is unbelievable.
