Hi Sanjeev that looks much better, the look/stare gives the image 'presence' and the colour & detail looks much better!

By accident the Flicr image came up which looked far better, so if you have too images then adding another round of USM on the Lions face for this version would be good. Personally I'm not sure if the space to the LHS works, I feel the 'negative' space should be to the RHS, so a simple extension of the canvas with the BKG colour seems to work IMHO. Looks like things are coming together, well done.

Not to sure the light was totally in your favour here, but it has worked out reasonably well, All of the important bits are there, but the crop needs more space on RHS.

Why is the sky the colour it is, was there a storm on the way?

The image does get a bit soft when I transfer from Flickr to BPN, will plan uploading directly once I become a member. The BG is actually water. The pride of lions were resting by a small pond (almost a dozen of em) I guess they just had a meal. We approached the pride in our vehicle and got real close to em when a few woke up and gave that look. It was muddy water of the pond that gave the grey look to the BG. I agree that more space on the RHS would be ideal but this was almost full frame.

It's a hard habit to break but I like to not shoot at best view finder framing but back off 10% or so. Wonderful thing about digital is cropping later for best framing. (I remember too well shooting 35mm chrome).
