I captured this images a few months back at in the Drakensburg mountains of South Africa. Sometime you cannot convey the mood and moment of a scene in colour. This is atop the mountain where a vulture hide is situated . I combine trips to this area for epic landscape photography and also try to capture unique images of the endangered vultures that occur here. This image was captured one afternoon while scouting the area for sunset. I have removed a small unwanted weed on bottom edge instead of cropping the frame smallerCanon 5d MK2 , 16-35 mm f2.8 @ 16 mm , iso 200 F11 , 13sec with Light craft ND 400 , Tripod and shutter release. All comments and feedback appreciated

Love the contrast between dark and bright and the wonderful sweeping sky.

Mate, this totally works for me; I would still like to see the color version! :Whoa!:

What an impressive sky! I like the way the diverging road invites you to explore different parts of the scene. The light on the far distant hills is particularly beautiful.

Andrew...for me your best landscape in a while (and most of them have been great! :Whoa!:).
Love the drama here - excellent comp and tonal range to boot.

I was there in January. Had a hard time photographing it. This is much better than all my efforts and one of the best shots of this
place I've ever seen. The B&W really works here.

Andrew - really great image. I like the b&w and what the long exp has done to the clouds. Very well done.
