Taken a few weeks back. One thing that I noticed is the abundance of Redstart this past couple of years . The are very quick and wont pose more than a split second and makes it challenging and addictive.
D300 with AF-S 300mm 2.8 + TC 1.4E.
F 5.6 , 1/320 , iso 640.

C &C always welcome.

Hi,

I agree about the difficulty in shooting warblers! This one is well done, with good sharpness and bg - perhaps a little small in the frame, but excellent head angle and catchlight.

Excellent pose, sharpnes and beautiful background. I would make the catchlight in the eye a bit smaller if it were mine.

Awesome image of this energetic species. No nits from me. I'm VERY impressed that you were able to
get this type of image without using audio as an attractant, which I'm assuming you did not, since it was
not stated.

Nicely presented, lots of detail in the blacks showing through, silky smooth backdrop contrasting well with the dark bird, vocalising is the icingb on the cake for this great photo.

Hi Carmelo, excellent exposure on the blacks of the head, and sharp where it counts. I like the diagonal perch, and I feel taking a touch off the bottom wont harm the image. :w3
