Raining constantly here in the UK. This shot, taken through glass, is of one of my resident Bluetits which alighted in my garden.

Hi Mark, good IQ captured through a window ( glass ) and I do like the overall detail on the bird. I feel you have the sharpness just right, as this type of plumage can look crispy if over-sharpened. I would try and lighten the eye if possible.

Thank you Stuart, good point about the eye, noted.

You must have really clean windows!!:S3:
Lovely little bird and excellent IQ.
I find the crop a bit tight for my personal taste and would add about 5-10% on top,
Gail

Thanks Gail, actually the outside of the glass was soaked with rain, but if you are virtually touching the glass with your lens and the glass is clean to start with, you can often get away with that. I take your point about the crop, it probably would look better to have given the bird a little more space in the frame. FWIW I cropped it tightly as I'd gotten reasonable detail on the subject bird and wanted to show that :S3:

Agree a bit more on the top would help improve a little, but nice fine detail and lighgt, a slight shame there is not a bit more light in the eye, but still a very sweet shot
