Lorant Voros

Just got back from a morning of birding with Manuel Grosselet. The conditions were not at all good for photography; dark and rainy in the forest. However, I wanted to share here a picture of a Russet Nightingale Thrush that is also endemic to Mexico. Comments are welcome.

Despite the conditions the picture is beautiful, Lorant. Excellent pose and great use of flash.

Very attractive Lorant, the bird looks terrific.
A bit more room above would look nice for me and I would
run another round of NR on the pretty BG.

Flashed well and not obviously flashed which is a big plus I feel, working in dense forest/scrub is generally difficult but you handled it so well, great pose, detail and complimentary perch...agree regarding applying a little more noise reduction on BG
