Good job Ian! This looks nice and sharp, color rendition and pose are excellent. I used to have two of these for pets. One of them was in a Cheech and Chong movie! Great subjects.

Thanks, Kerry. I had a pet one as a kid too, but this guy was wild in St. Maarten.

Not sure what advice to offer, lizards with long tails are hard to compose well in a picture so it's always a toss up whether to fill the frame with a partial lizard as you have done and display fine detail well or not. Maybe a crop to remove what is left of the tail and the back legs to have a more closeup head/body portrait shot...not sure.

Ian, this is really nice - I like the sharpness and the pose and muted colors, especially the tan spines against the tan bg. I had an iguana when I was a kid also - he grew to be quite large:S3:
