Sunrise and Fog in Cades Cove

Hi Judy,

This is a pleasing image that captures the morning light well.

I like the flow of the hills from low on the left to high on the right - since this flow is the same direction we read, it acts as a leading line to guide the eye.

I would suggest a CCW rotation as the grass looks slanted.

I would also suggest detail enhancement either using Color Efex Pro or Local Contrast Enhancement (see me links at the top of the forum).

THough ISO 200 is a good place to be with the Canon 7D due to noise, I would suggest shooting landscapes at ISO 100 with it. Detail enhancement will accentuate noise so noise reduction is needed first in the workflow.
