Piping Plover resting during day

This was taken around 6 PM in afternoon when sun was still shining bright and my recent switch to Manual mode ensured I get right exposure and avoid any burnt whites.

This was unusually crowded evening at beach and all the piping plovers were hiding/resting in their protected nesting site.
Birds were at a far distance from where light angle was right but with 700mm I could make some acceptable images.

Hi Sachin, excellent low perspective, and I like the HA of the plover. The feather detail is there, but feel you may have extended the IQ with the large crop. Love the colours in the BG.

Yes, beautiful BG, and resting pose. I wish the bill was cleaner, and I'm with Stuart in regards to IQ. There is one highlight speck that I woulod get rid of on a FG rock.
