Canon 50D Canon 180mm macro tripod ISO 400 1/40 sec f16

I applied a layer mask and desaturated the yellow element in the sedges and then recovered them in the dragonfly.
All comments welcome.

Really nice, Jonathan. The dragonfly looks great, and the background compliments him beautifully. I might try to blend the lower right area of the image a little more.

Hi Jonathan, great details and light on this dragon. I also notice the LRC of the BG. May use some more blending as Maureen said. Overall very well done.

Hi Jonathan. You are getting a lot of mileage out of this dragonfly! Three great images and each very different from the others in terms of lighting, mood, and background. Excellent work!

Thanks very much everyone, comments most appreciated. This dragonfly was a female and I photographed her over two days on different perches, (you may have noticed the imperfect right rear wing.)
