I have a 7D and 50D.

There is an used 1ds for around U$600 where I live.

Given the fact that this camera is around 10 yeards old, is it a good deal compared to what I have ?

Another issue would be batteries. I see that it uses ni-mh battery but there are some li-on batteries on Ebay.

I'm interested in the rugged construction and 45-point AF. I never had a 1D series camera.

What do you think ?

Thank you.

No the 1Ds is an obsolete camera, it uses sensor technology that is way inferior to your 7D or 50D, I can't believe someone expects to sell that camera for $600. I wouldn't even trade it with a 50D.
